Terms
InvoiceCollect is a trading name of Truelove Developments Ltd (company 08188464), The Office, 15 West Avenue, Filey YO14 9AA. ICO registration ZC059002. These are the online terms. By paying at checkout, you agree to them.
We send letters, emails and SMS about unpaid business invoices, in your name, for up to 16 weeks. We are not a law firm and we do not give legal advice. We do not file, issue or run court claims and we do not sign a statement of truth.
We do not promise that any invoice will be paid, in full or at all, or by any date. The first 4 weeks are £49, shown before you pay. There is no success fee and no percentage. The price is payable whether or not the customer pays. You can have a full refund before the first contact. After that first contact, the £49 for the first 4 weeks is not refunded.
We never take the customer's money. The customer pays you directly, into your own account or through a payment link in your name.
Optional extension: after the first 4 weeks, you can pay a one-off £19 for 4 more weeks of chasing, up to 3 times per company. It is never charged automatically.
If you don't add a company within 14 days of payment, we close that slot and refund its fee in full.
We only accept debts owed by an active limited company or LLP in the United Kingdom. Sole traders, partnerships, private individuals and anyone else are refused. There is no referral route for them. The company must match an active Companies House record. Dissolved companies, and companies in liquidation or administration, are refused.
Weeks 1 to 8: at most one contact on each working day, and at most 5 contacts in any rolling 7 days, across letter, email and SMS together. Weeks 9 to 16: at most one contact a week. Email and SMS go out from 8:00 to 17:59, Monday to Friday. Posted letters may also go on Saturday, in the same hours. There is no contact on a bank holiday in England and Wales, or in the part of the UK where the debtor's registered office is. The same wording is not sent twice.
We use business contact details only: a business phone number the company publishes or gave you, or an email, the registered office, or the registered office marked for the attention of a director. We do not use personal mobiles, home addresses or tracing.
If you tick the box confirming you may take court action yourself, letters may say: '[Creditor] may issue court proceedings.' We never mention solicitors, statutory demands, bailiffs or credit files. Otherwise letters say only that you will decide your next steps.
We stop all contact on every channel, and a person reviews the case, if the customer disputes or queries the invoice, if there is any sign of insolvency, if the customer asks us not to contact it, or if anyone reports a payment or settlement. We acknowledge every dispute. We restart only if you confirm in writing how the point was resolved and a member of our staff approves the restart. If a member of staff asks us not to contact them personally, we stop contacting that person and write only to the accounts address or the registered office. A part payment also triggers the stop and the review.
After payment, you confirm for each company that the invoice is for goods or services supplied business to business, that the debtor is not an individual, sole trader or partnership, that it is not credit or hire, that it is undisputed, that it is under 6 years past due, and that the debtor is not known to be insolvent. A no or a not sure means we will not act. You also confirm that you are a business.
Warranties. You warrant that those confirmations are true, that you have authority to instruct us and to give us the debtor's business contact details, and that you will tell us at once about a dispute, insolvency, a payment, or a do-not-contact request.
Authority. You authorise us to write, email and text the debtor in your name, at business addresses only, and to use the bank details you give us in those letters. The debtor pays you direct. We do not hold that money.
Indemnity. You will indemnify us against claims, losses and costs arising from your instructions or from a confirmation that was not true, except to the extent we caused the loss by our own negligence or wilful misconduct.
Fees. The first 4 weeks are £49, shown before you pay. There is no success fee and no percentage of the debt. The £49 is payable whether or not the debtor pays you. You may cancel for a full refund before the first contact. After that contact, the £49 is not refunded. Optional extension: after the first 4 weeks, you can pay a one-off £19 for 4 more weeks of chasing, up to 3 times per company. It is never charged automatically. How to cancel a business plan: Account > Billing > Cancel, or email support@invoicecollect.co.uk. Cancelling a business plan stops future charges from the next 4-week date. Contact stops at week 16. The £49 case includes 1 posted letter for each invoice, the same as the business plans. Each further posted letter is £15. Multi-company pricing. When you pay for more than one debtor company in a single checkout, the first company costs £49, the second to fourth £39 each, and the fifth onwards £29 each. Each price covers 4 weeks of chasing for that company and includes one posted letter. You add each company's name and the amount owed after payment, and chasing for that company starts once you've added it and confirmed it's eligible. Each company is a separate case, with its own checks and refund rights. These prices apply only to companies paid for in the same checkout. A refunded or cancelled case does not change the price of the others.
Fast-track letter before claim (optional, £25 per invoice). If you choose it, we will post and email the letter before claim on the next working day instead of at its scheduled stage, provided the invoice is overdue, the debtor's registered office is in England and Wales, and no dispute, stop or open settlement offer applies. The letter is sent in your name on your authority. We are not a law firm and do not give legal advice or issue court proceedings. The fee is not refundable once the letter has been sent. If we cannot send it, we refund it in full.
Business plans are billed every 4 weeks (28 days), alongside the £49 option for the first 4 weeks of a single invoice. Starter: £99 every 4 weeks, for up to 10 invoices being chased, then £12 for each extra. Growth: £249 every 4 weeks, for up to 40 invoices being chased, then £8 for each extra. Scale: £599 every 4 weeks, for up to 150 invoices being chased, then £5 for each extra. Above Scale, talk to us. There is no self-serve plan past Scale. The price is shown before you pay. There is no success fee and no percentage. The £49 case includes 1 posted letter for each invoice, the same as these plans. Each further posted letter is £15. An invoice counts towards your allowance in each 4-week period in which we contact the debtor about it. Unused allowance does not carry over. Extra invoices are charged at the end of each 4-week period. Several invoices for the same debtor each use one allowance slot. One debtor with several invoices gets one reminder a day listing every invoice. The contact limits apply to that debtor, not to each invoice. Paid, disputed or stopped invoices stop using slots from the next period. No minimum term. Plans cancel from the next 4-week date.
Our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in that period and £500. We are not liable for loss of profit or indirect loss. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
Data protection. You are the controller of the debtor's contact details and Truelove Developments Ltd is the processor. We process that data only on your documented instructions, including these contact rules. Our staff keep it confidential. We keep it secure as required by Article 32 of the UK GDPR. The subprocessors are those listed in the privacy notice. We will tell you of a change to that list, and you may object. We will help you with requests from data subjects and with Articles 32 to 36. We will tell you of a personal data breach without undue delay. When the service ends we will delete or return the data, unless the law requires us to keep it. We keep case records for 6 years after the case closes. We will give you the information you need to audit these duties, on request. You will not ask us to contact a person at a home address or on a personal number.
Complaints. Write to The Office, 15 West Avenue, Filey YO14 9AA or email complaints@invoicecollect.co.uk. If your complaint is about personal data, you can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office. Our registration number is ZC059002. We acknowledge complaints within 5 working days and give a final response within 8 weeks.
This is a business contract. It is governed by the law of England and Wales.
